Location

This industrial establishment is located in Mubarakganj area of Naldanga, Kaliganj Upazila of Jhenaidah District, Khulna Division, South-Western Region of Bangladesh.

History

The construction of this industrial plant started in 1965 and was completed in 1968 and sugar production began in it from 1967-68. After the independence of Bangladesh, in 1972, the Bangladesh government declared this institution as a national institution.
