Arsenal vs Aston Villa match preview

The Gunners will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season against Aston Villa, who are struggling to find form.

Arsenal overcame a stubborn Fulham side last time around with a late goal from Gabriel.

The optimism around the club right now should help them push on, as well the fine form of midfield maestro Martin Odegaard.

The Norwegian midfielder put on another stellar performance against Fulham, while Gabriel Jesus will be looking to get back to goalscoring ways after going two matches without netting.

Steven Gerrard is facing pressure after Aston Villa have won just once in their last eight matches. Villa were booed off after their 1-0 defeat to West Ham.

Villa lacked any real goal threat and will need to pull something out the bag to get a result at the Emirates.

Philippe Coutinho also picked up an injury that may see him miss the match, which would be a big miss for Gerrard’s team.
